Steven Spinola is the President of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the real estate industry’s leading trade association in New York City with more than 13,000 members, including building owners, developers, brokers and managers, as well as banks, insurance companies, brokerage houses, architects, attorneys and others involved in New York City real estate.
Crain’s New York Business has included Mr. Spinola in its list of the 100 Most Influential New Yorkers. He has also been regularly named to the top 50 of the New York Observer/Commercial Observer’s Top 100 Most Powerful People in Real Estate.
Mr. Spinola maintains an outstanding reputation as the real estate sector’s most influential and well-informed advocate. He has been an outspoken supporter of public policies that have helped maintain New York City’s status as a competitive and business-friendly locale that consistently attracts global investment.
Mr. Spinola serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for The Grand Central Partnership. He has also been appointed by Governor Cuomo to the New York City Regional Council and served as a member of the New York State Real Estate Board, appointed by former Governor Pataki.
